Sarah Swanson has made it her career mission to utilize more than 20 years of fundraising and marketing experience to help non-profits, schools, and community groups raise more money and promote their important causes.

During her career, Sarah has provided support for many organizations including: universities, public school districts, arts and culture institutions, youth serving organizations, and community groups of all sizes.

She has experience in all areas of fundraising and specializes in developing robust corporate partnerships and sponsorship programs. Additionally, she is adept at creating systems that help maximize fundraising potential.

She has planned and organized galas and benefit dinners, runs and walks, donor cultivation and stewardship events, as well as alumni and community-wide celebrations. Sarah takes pride in planning events that come in below industry standards for fundraising to expense ratios and capitalizes on in-kind donations to increase net revenues.

In her early career, Sarah focused on marketing and has gained experience in all areas including direct mail campaigns, collateral development, project management, as well as social media and online marketing.

Sarah has twice stepped in as an Interim Vice President to ensure staff stayed motivated during a major leadership transition and that fundraising goals were met.

She has also worked as a campaign manager helping to train solicitors, research and prepare prospect briefs, design and update financial reports, and keep the fundraising plan on target.
